As I walked around my house doing general pickup this past weekend, I realized (because I had them stacked) my son has 10 spiral notebooks in which he is currently drawing.  In case you aren’t familiar, Charlie has a “thing” for drawing.  He can draw for hours, and the end result is usually pages and pages of intricately detailed sketches ranging from robots to computer operating systems.

When I looked at the stack of notebooks and papers (and thought about the box of notebooks he’s used up sitting in the garage), I realized I wanted to go through and post some of this work.  Not because I think he is a prodigy, I don’t.  Only because some of the things he draws are quite interesting.

So, I created this page on the site where I will post Charlie’s art.

06/16/2008:  Last night Charlie put this drawing up on the fridge.  I said, “What is this a picture of?”  He said, “Mom! It’s the inside of the body!”  As if I were a moron for not recognizing it as such.
