A Mother’s Day To Remember! 2008
Charlie presented me with this “Mom” book yesterday. He was so proud! He read every page to me and explained the pictures as he went:
This is what my Mom looks like…. see Mom, your lips are orange. (I promise you all they are not, although he did get the size in proportion to my face about right.)
When I was a baby my mom… took care of me. (I got choked up on that one. He came up with that on his own with no prompting from the teacher.)
My favorite thing to do with my mom is… play N64 DD. (I admit, we do play Nintendo 64. I’m not sure what the DD part is – something Charlie discovered online no doubt.)
Happy Mother’s Day Mom! I love you! Do you like my book? (I had a hard time answering for all the blubbering I was doing. All I could do was just nod yes and hug him tight.)
