My Cinco de Linco Bender Starts Today!!!

I know I said I was going to run my Lend4Health fundraiser the 5th and 6th only; but, I’ve decided to start one day early and have a Cinco de Linco Weekend Bender!! Woohooo!!! Who doesn’t love a bender, right?!? 
For those of you new to my blog, you probably have some questions… like:
Q. What is Lend4Health?
A. Lend4Health is a FANTASTIC website that facilitates community-based, interest-free “micro-loans” for the biomedical treatment of those with autism spectrum disorders.
Q. Okay, then what the heck is Cinco de Linco?!?
A. Cinco de Linco is a monthly fundraiser I came up with to generate $5 loans (or any amount divisible by 5: ex. $10, $25, $50… you get the point) for the kids on L4H. All you have to do is hop over to the site and click “Add To Cart” to get started. At that point you just enter the number of dollars you want to donate to the child you have selected – if you want to donate $25, you enter 25 in the quantity box. If you want to loan each child on the site money, just click “Continue Shopping,” which will take you back to the site where you can add the next child to the cart and complete the steps again. Be sure you make a note that your loan is a “Cinco de Linco Loan” so that we can keep track of loans generated by this fundraiser. You can do this on the “Review Payment” page. If you look under the list of loans you’ve made, you’ll see “Optional Notes/Comments” – click that link to open a text box. Type “Cinco de Linco!” Complete your order. That’s it! See how easy it is to help these kids? And let me tell you guys, you’ll feel so good once you’ve done it – nothing compares to the feeling of giving!
And one last thing, it just so happens my birthday is Monday (Oct.6th), so I’m going to extend Cinco De Linco to run through that day as well – it’s a loooong weekend bender huh? The reason I’m extending this fundraiser through my birthday is I am hoping some of you will pop over to Lend4Health.blogspot.com and donate to the kids in my name – that would be very cool… don’t leave me hanging, ’cause that would be embarassing! 
(**Thanks Petra for being the first!! Awesome!) So instead of designating the loan as just “Cinco de Linco,” you could say something like, “Cinco de Linco and Happy Bday Jeanne!” or whatever you want to say.

Angie – I am so glad you can now to the genomics testing for your boys. Keep us/me posted on what you learn and my sincere hopes that you’ll find Dr. Yasko’s protocol as enlightening for your boys as it has been for mine.

TO ANGIE…We must all DARE TO BELIEVE! We must stand as one and Fight the Fight…for the children. You can BELIEVE IT when I say, we will all have you and your boys in our thoughts and prayers, as you embark on this new leg of your family’s JOURNEY OUT of AUTISM. You can BELIEVE IT when I say, we care about you and stand tall with you. You can BELIEVE IT when I say, you are not alone. You are a WARRIOR MOM. BELIEVE. HOPE. NEVER GIVE UP. FIGHT ‘TIL THE DEATH. THERE IS NO FORCE STRONGER THAN A MOTHER’S LOVE!
TO PETRA: I am SO HAPPY you recovered your beloved HOPE ring. I know how much it stands for in your life. Also, thanks for all of the HOPE you’ve given to the children at LEND 4 HEALTH. I greatly admire you for your selfless acts of generosity, as you fight to save your own precious boys from the clutches of AUTISM. You are truly a WARRIOR MOM! ps: SO SORRY about that bomb threat…as if you’re not dealing with enough scary stuff!
TO JEANNE…thank you for bringing attention to LEND 4 HEALTH. This website has “put a face” on AUTISM. To be able to see the children, hear their stories, and watch as people make donations bringing these kids further down the road in their JOURNEY OUT OF AUTISM, warms our hearts, strengthens our resolve to Fight the Fight, and most of all…gives us a great sense of HOPE for these children’s future! For everything you do to help others dealing with AUTISM, I applaude you. For everything you’ve done and are doing to bring my Grandson INTO THE LIGHT OF RECOVERY, I thank you. For making it possible for Charlie to walk into my livingroom and say, “Hey Granny…I had a great day at school…I got another E today.” THANK YOU!
TO EVERYONE ELSE: PLEASE go to LEND 4 HEALTH. Look at those children’s faces. Read their mothers’ pleas for help. We must not turn a blind eye to their suffering. Even if you don’t understand AUTISM, understand this: THESE KIDS ARE VERY SICK. THEY ARE IN PAIN. THESE KIDS NEED OUR HELP.
An innocent child can be on his way to recovery because of you! Your contributions can take these kids on a JOURNEY of a lifetime…OUT OF AUTISM! Please give them their little voices back. With your help…someday soon…they will be able to use their words and say…”THANK YOU”.
