The Day I Beat Out Steve Jobs…

Charlie had to write an essay about an important person in his life. He started to write about Steve Jobs but changed his focus to me. I was mightily honored to get a bit of edge above Mr. Jobs, as he is most definitely one of the most important people in my son’s life. Step aside Steve Jobs… Mama’s taking the lead! Not to worry friends, my ego is not experiencing any form of inflation. Charlie made sure to point out my shortcomings, “…you didn’t invent any kind of awesome technology Mom, but I chose you anyway.”

Jeanne Cantkier aka My Mom
by Charlie Cantkier

The person who has been the most important person in my life and has made the most difference in my life is Jeanne Cantkier. Jeanne Cantkier is my mom and she is important for a lot of different reasons.

One of the reasons my mom is so important is that she helps me be healthy. She learned the ways of the Paleo Diet so she can make me healthy treats and foods. She nourishes me and keeps me healthy so I don’t get sick from my allergies. And she is an awesome cook!

Another reason my mom is so important is that she does all kinds of stuff with me. Everyday (except Saturday and Sunday) she does my v-school with me. She reads all kinds of books with me. We plays lots of games like DrawSomething, Monopoly, Cranium, Scene-it, etc…

Another reason my mom is so important is that she is awesome! She is funny, smart, cool, and healthy. I like to snuggle with her because she is so cute. And the most important part of my mom is that I love her and she loves me.

In conclusion the person who has been the most important person in my life and has made the most difference in my life is my mom. She works hard making healthy foods, she does great activities with me, and she loves me.
