Charlie’s Winter Program
Friday was a big day for all of us. Charlie had his very first on-stage performance at his school. I have to be honest, my expectations were rather low. I figured Charlie would see us and run off the stage. Or, maybe see us (or not) and start crying when he saw all the people and heard all the noise.
I am happy, thrilled and ecstatic to report that he did none of the above; rather, he enjoyed his time on stage and exhibited what can only be described as a certain star quality you might see in the upper echelon of the Oscar set.
The songs performed are:
The Chubby Little Snow Man (which Charlie introduces), Days of the Week, Sing Sing Sing (keep in mind Charlie’s school is a Christian school – around here it’s either that or public), Special Me, and The Goodbye Song
When I watch this video I cry. I think about how things were a year ago, how there is NO WAY Charlie would have or could have performed so well. Our little guy has come so far and I think this video really shows that.
The video we’ve posted is poor quality due to the fact that our camera is on its last leg. The video and audio are choppy in the beginning, but things smooth out after the second song.
