Another Cinco de Linco day has arrived.  Today is the day I ask my friends and family to visit Lend4Health.org and make a $5 loan (or more, or less – whatever you can do) to one (or more) of the kids.  The kids currently up on L4H are: Will, Milo, Benny, Aydan B. #2, and Christian.

Biomedical treatments are not covered by most insurance companies.  Families dealing with autism are going broke trying to help their kids have a better quality of life. Since the flu pandemic was declared, there have been several so-called “vaccine experts” coming out of the wood work attempting to justify the effectiveness of vaccines. All of them parrot the same ridiculous historical and pseudoscientific perspectives of vaccinations which are easily squelched with the following 9 questions.

Claim: The study of vaccines, their historical record of achievements, effectiveness, safety and mechanism in humans are well understood and proven in scientific and medical circles.

Fact: The claim is completely false.

1. What to ask: Could you please provide one double-blind, placebo-controlled study that can prove the safety and effectiveness of vaccines?

2. What to ask: Could you please provide scientific evidence on ANY study which can confirm the long-term safety and effectiveness of vaccines?

3. What to ask: Could you please provide scientific evidence which can prove that disease reduction in any part of the world, at any point in history was attributable to inoculation of populations?

4. What to ask: Could you please explain how the safety and mechanism of vaccines in the human body are scientifically proven if their pharmacokinetics (the study of bodily absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of ingredients) are never examined or analyzed in any vaccine study?

One of the most critical elements which defines the toxicity potential of any vaccine are its pharmacokinetic properties. Drug companies and health agencies refuse to consider the study, analysis or evaluation of the pharmacokinetic properties of any vaccine.

There is not one double-blind, placebo-controlled study in the history of vaccine development that has ever proven their safety, effectiveness or achievements (unless those achievements have underlined their damage to human health).

There are also no controlled studies completed in any country which have objectively proven that vaccines have had any direct or consequential effect on the reduction of any type of disease in any part of the world.

Every single study that has ever attempted to validate the safety and effectiveness of vaccines has conclusively established carcinogenic, mutagenic, neurotoxic or fertility impairments, but they won’t address those.

Claim: Preservatives and chemical additives used in the manufacture of vaccines are safe and no studies have been linked or proven them unsafe for use in humans.

Fact: The claim is completely false.

5. What to ask: Could you please provide scientific justification as to how injecting a human being with a confirmed neurotoxin is beneficial to human health and prevents disease?

6. What to ask: Can you provide a risk/benefit profile on how the benefits of injecting a known neurotoxin exceeds its risks to human health for the intended goal of preventing disease?

This issue is no longer even open to debate. It is a scientifically established fact in literally hundreds of studies that the preservatives and chemical additives in vaccines damage cells. Neurotoxicity, immune suppression, immune-mediated chronic inflammation and carcinogenic proliferation are just a few of several effects that have been observed on the human body. See a list of chemicals in vaccines

Fortunately, the drug companies still tell us the damage vaccines have on the human body. People just don’t read them. All you have to do is look at the insert for any vaccine, and it will detail the exact ingredients, alerts and potentially lethal effects.

Any medical professional who believes that it is justified to inject any type of neurotoxin into any person to prevent any disease is completely misguided, misinformed, deluded and ignorant of any logic regarding human health.

Claim: Once an individual is injected with the foreign antigen in the vaccine, that individual becomes immune to future infections.

Fact: The claim is completely false.

7. What to ask: Could you please provide scientific justification on how bypassing the respiratory tract (or mucous membrane) is advantageous and how directly injecting viruses into the bloodstream enhances immune functioning and prevents future infections?

8. What to ask: Could you please provide scientific justification on how a vaccine would prevent viruses from mutating?

9. What to ask: Could you please provide scientific justification as to how a vaccination can target a virus in an infected individual who does not have the exact viral configuration or strain the vaccine was developed for?

All promoters of vaccination fail to realize that the respiratory tract of humans (actually all mammals) contains antibodies which initiates natural immune responses within the respiratory tract mucosa. Bypassing this mucosal aspect of the immune system by directly injecting viruses into the bloodstream leads to a corruption in the immune system itself. As a result, the pathogenic viruses or bacteria cannot be eliminated by the immune system and remain in the body, where they will further grow and/or mutate as the individual is exposed to ever more antigens and toxins in the environment which continue to assault the immune system.

Despite the injection of any type of vaccine, viruses continue circulating through the body, mutating and transforming into other organisms. The ability of a vaccine manufacturer to target the exact viral strain without knowing its mutagenic properties is equivalent to shooting a gun at a fixed target that has already been moved from its location. You would be shooting at what was, not what is!

Flu viruses, may mutate, change or adapt several times over a period of one flu season, making the seasonal influenza vaccine 100% redundant and ineffective every single flu season. Ironically, the natural immune defenses of the human body can target these changes but the vaccines cannot.

I have never encountered one pro-vaccine advocate, whether medically or scientifically qualified, who could answer even 1 let alone all 9 of these questions. One or all of the following will happen when debating any of the above questions:

- They will concede defeat and admit they are stumped

- They will attempt to discredit unrelated issues that do not pertain to the question.

- They will formulate their response and rebuttal based on historical arguments and scientific studies which have been disproved over and over again. Not one pro-vaccine advocate will ever directly address these questions in an open mainstream venue.

On Wednesday April 7th, General Medical Council (GMC) lawyers will demand that I and likely two other doctors involved in the MMR-autism case should be erased from the UK’s medical register, removing our license to practice medicine. Doctors’ regulators have found the three of us – Professor John Walker-Smith, Professor Simon Murch and me – guilty of undertaking research on children with autism without approval from an ethics committee.
We can prove, with extensive documentary evidence, that this conclusion is false.

Let me make it absolutely clear that, at its heart, the GMC hearing has been about the protection of MMR vaccination policy. The case has been driven by an agenda to crush dissent that in my opinion serves the government and the pharmaceutical industry — not the welfare of children. It’s important to note that there has never been a complaint against any of the doctors by any parent involved in this case — only universal parental support and gratitude.

My colleagues, Professors Walker-Smith and Murch, are outstanding pediatricians and pediatric gastroenterologists. They have led the field of pediatric gastroenterology for decades, devoting their lives to caring for sick children. Our only “crime” in this matter has been to listen to the concerns of parents, act according to the demands of our professional training, and provide appropriate care to this neglected population of children. It is unthinkable that at the end of an unimpeachable career, Professor Walker-Smith would even consider unethical experimentation on children under his care.

In the course of our work, we discovered and treated a new intestinal disease syndrome in children with autism, alleviating suffering in affected children around the world. This should be cause for celebration. Instead, we have been vilified in the press, and demonized by a wasteful PR campaign by the Department of Health. The aim of this negative publicity was to discredit my criticism of vaccine safety research.

Sadly, my colleagues have suffered severe collateral damage in this effort to prevent valid scientific enquiry. They should be exonerated, and left alone with their reputations intact, in the certain knowledge that they have done only what is right.

The loss of my own medical license is, unfortunately, the cost of doing business. Although I do not take this loss lightly, the suffering – so much of it unnecessary – that I have seen among those affected by this devastating disease makes the professional consequences for me a small price to pay by comparison.

As long as a question mark remains over vaccine safety; as long as a safety-first vaccine policy is subordinate to profit and self-interest; as long as the benefits of vaccines are threatened by those who have compromised public confidence by denial of vaccine damage, and as long as these children need help; I will continue my work.

Dear President Obama:

We the undersigned oppose the nomination of Ari Ne’eman to the National Council on Disability. Although we salute your effort to include a person with an autism spectrum disorder on the council, the choice of Mr. Ne’eman is wrong for the autism community and wrong for our country.

1) We are a nation in the throes of an autism epidemic, with 1 in 110 afflicted and hundreds of thousands of families struggling to confront the enormous financial and emotional hardships of this disorder. It is an insult to our community and to the people of this nation who will bear the enormous costs of millions of children and adults with autism that a 22-year-old student has been nominated to this position. Mr. President, how can you praise this nominee’s “depth of experience” when he has not held a job, earned a degree or experienced life after college?

2) Mr. Ne’eman vehemently opposes curing autism, calling cure “offensive.” However, many individuals who would benefit from a cure are incapable of disagreeing with him. Mr. President, will your appointees also recommend ending the search for cures for childhood cancer and diabetes? Or just autism? Mr. Ne’eman opposes the mission of the country’s leading autism organization, Autism Speaks, which supports efforts to prevent and cure autism. He also opposes the depiction of autism as a crisis and does not address the very significant needs of the large population of individuals who are profoundly disabled by autism.

It’s World Autism Awareness Day!

Four years ago Charlie had lost his language, was non-verbal, and diagnosed with autism. A local “autism expert” told Mike and I there was no cure and that Charlie would eventually need to be institutionalized. Institutionalized… Charlie… Think about it. To be honest, I can’t think about it – makes me sick to my stomach, angry, and very, very sad. This “expert” warned us to steer clear of the “witchcraft movement” of parents attempting to treat children biomedically. And as a parting gift, he suggested we let go of any dreams we had for our son in terms of friendships, college, marriage, children. Instead, we were to envision a more attainable dream for Charlie – learning to communicate so that he could express his needs to his caregivers as he grew older.

Our pediatrician, upon hearing the diagnosis and me asking if there was anything I could do to reverse what was happening, told me Charlie’s prognosis was “lifetime” and not to “fall for” the liars and charlatans out there saying autism is treatable. He told me we should enjoy our little boy as much as we could before we would no longer be able to handle him or care for him. Oddly, this doctor did not perform one medical test in an attempt to explain the GI trouble, red cheeks, running nose, etc. Instead he just handed me a piece of paper telling me our son was essentially lost to us. This non-speaking, tantruming, unhealthy boy was as good as it would ever get. He wouldn’t speak. He wouldn’t say “I love you.”

I guess it’s a good thing I’m hardheaded and a wee bit of a rebel…

If we had listened, had not dared to go against the mainstream, Charlie might very well have ended up in an institution some day, out of control with his autistic behaviors – or drugged into calmness. That’s not me being dramatic, that’s reality for a lot of children with autism. Sadly, several of my friends are facing this reality with their children.

Thankfully, through biomedical treatments (none of which were covered by our insurance), we were able to give Charlie a chance to live a full, happy, and healthy life. We started early and had success. We could not have made it through all of this without the support and love of all of you!

To Julie and Calvin: A mother couldn’t ask for two more unbelievably wonderful kids. You would have been well within your rights to be resentful towards Charlie and about the focus we’ve had on him these past four years. Yet neither of you chose that path. Instead, you chose to love your brother unconditionally, for that you have so much love and respect from me. You’re both awesome and I just love you so much! Always know that.

To Mom and Rick: Charlie is where he is today because of your generosity and unconditional love. Add to that the moral support you provided to Mike and me by believing in what we were trying to do – reading the research and articles I would send you – not many people are willing to do that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

To Dad and Sheryl: For your love and support. We were able to get Charlie to the very best pediatric GI specialist in the country because of you. A huge piece of Charlie’s “autism puzzle” was solved because of that trip. Thank you.

Ulla and Maurice, for helping whenever you could (and Ulla for helping us buy meds for so many months, and cheering me on every time we’d talk). For your unbelievable support and belief that what we were doing was right and good. For loving Charlie. Thank you.

Julie, for being the best sister ever. In the history of sisters. For listening to me go on and on (and on). For supporting my choices, and understanding my need to submerge myself for the sake of Charlie’s health. If you’d like to do something about autism on this day, please just take a moment and think about this: 1 in 91 children are now diagnosed with autism. Today alone, in a 24 hour period, nearly 115 children will be diagnosed. Today 115 parents will be devastated by the news. 115 children. One day. Think about that and think about the parents. Have a moment of silence and ask the Universe to send these parents, and their children, strength. They’re going to need it.

I hope you’ll share Charlie’s story with others on this day of autism awareness.
